  What is in our mind while we are thinking about a super-exclusive car?
A big exclusive sedan. Yup, that's right and 7 SERIES is the one of many exclusive car that ever made in the world.

This huge exclusive sedan offers the different way of comfort

 7 SERIES was made to compete against its hardest and oldest rival, the Mercedes S-Class, and trust me, their competition has been started even since we were not born yet.

 This super exclusive sedan made by German Automaker (BMW) since 1977 has 6 generation, and I will only discuss about the present generation, the 6th generation actually. I won't discuss about the predecessors because it will take so much time and words.

 The 6th generation of 7 SERIES (The flagship of BMW) was revealed on 10 June 2015 at the headquarter of BMW in Munich, German. In the order to reduce weight to improve acceleration and fuel efficiency, BMW apply their Carbon Fibre structure known as Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) or in the easy name: Carbon Core, the same material that is also applied in the BMW i8.

The grilles can be closed automatically to minimize drag coefficient and opened automatically if the engine is too hot

 Uniquely, the suspension of the BMW 7 SERIES is not just an ordinary suspension; the height of it can be adjusted electronically, because the suspension is also electronic, not a dull mechanical ordinary suspension.

 7 SERIES has 4 option of engine: first is 4.4 litre of V8 engine belongs to BMW ALPINA B7. It produces 608 HP of power and 800 nm of torque at maximum, combined by an 8 speed automatic transmission. To reach 100 km/h or 60 mph from zero only take 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 310 km/h or 193 mph.

 The second option is the 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine, 3rd is the 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine. Both of these variants also combined with an 8 speed automatic transmission.

 The last option is the engine that is implanted inside the BMW 740e iPerformance known as the BMW's plug hybrid model, the 2.0 litre inline-four cylinders engine.

This is the different way of comfort

 BMW 7 SERIES offers the maximum level of dynamic comfort. Maybe the suspension is not as soft as the Mercedes S-Class, it's a bit stiff but still, it's very comfortable. If you can't park this car by yourself, don't worry. Just make sure that 7 SERIES is straight to your garage, get out from the car, take your key and touch the forward button on the key display and the 7 SERIES will move itself. Features? Never ask. Because 7 SERIES is the flagship of BMW, they give all the best as they can in this car. You will be very entertained in the second row of the car while the driver drives your 7 SERIES.

Spacious and luxurious cabin

 You can control the temperatures, wind speed of the A/C individually in this car. Not just the A/C, you can also control the interior light based on your mood because there are many color options of the LED in the interior, and they can be adjusted differently. Behind the front passenger's headrest there are 2 individual screen like TV that also can be controlled individually. After that, you will be given controller in the form like Samsung Galaxy Tabs to control everything such as lighting, seat position, AC adjuster, warmer etc in one touch. If you want to relax and straighten your leg, it is not a big problem. You can push forward the front passenger's seat electronically as far as your foot need, and then a footrest will be flipped down to put your foot. On the pillars there are 2 bright lamps but they won't blind your eyes to help you when you are reading something in the night trip. Very comfortable right?

Pagani Zonda R, Another Beast from Automobili

 Hello, Petrolhead. Good to be back on writing this article. Thanks to God who gives me chance so i can be still alive until now and wrote this article about an amazing car, the Zonda R from italian supercar manufaturer, Pagani.

 Know Zonda? There are so many Zonda spread around the world, and also with many variants. Zonda as the mid-engined supercar was debuted in 1999 and the production stopped at 2011. Sorry to say, it was a pity to stop the production of a beast.

 Not taking much time, let's go to the main topic. Although Zonda had many variants like Pagani Zonda Cinque, Zonda C12 as the first Zonda born into the world, or the special edition the Zonda Monza, i will only discuss about the Zonda R, if i discuss all of them (the Zondas), i will not have enough time, because the Zonda R itself has a long explanation.

 Designed by Horacio Pagani, the Zonda R was debuted in 2007 at Geneva Motor Show. It has 6.0 litre of M120 V12 engine,the same engine as the Mercedes CLK GTR. Sharing only 10% of Zonda F's components at maximum, it has a very light carbon fibre body.
Only 15 Zonda Rs were produced in the entire world.

 Although this car looks like the stormtrooper in the Star Wars films, the function will make you astonished. The bodywork and aerodinamics have been counted by the architect of the Zonda R, to increase its down force at maximum, and also keeping the car to turn at the corner at high speed.

Let's get into action!

 Zonda R has 740 HP of power (750 PS) at 7500 rpm and 710 nm of torque. This high output AMG(Mercedes) engine was combined by a 6 speed longitudinally mounted manual sequential synchronized gearbox, make it possible to reach a top speed of 218 mph (350.8 km/h), an acceleration from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in less than 2.7 seconds, and corners at 1.62 G.

Finished the Nürburgring circuit in just 6 minutes and 47 seconds

 On 2010, June 30th, Zonda R made a
record and completing the international Nürburgring circuit in 6:47, beating the Ferrari 599XX.

Hachi-Roku's History

From the legendary AE86 (Sprinter Trueno) into the 2nd Concept

 Good to be back. And thanks to all of the readers who have spent time reading my first blog languaged english. I'm sorry if i have made lots of mistakes, wrong vocabulary or tenses, or even wrong information.

 Let's start with Toyota Sprinter Trueno. The legendary AE86 which was used by Takumi Fujiwara, the tofu courier in the movie titled "INITIAL D"

 Back to the topic. This is a legendary sportcar from Toyota, the legendary AE86 or in the other name Toyota Sprinter Trueno, petrolhead call it Hachi-Roku.

 This lightweight coupe was introduced to the world in 1983, such a long time ago as the 5th generation of Toyota Corolla lineup. In the other word, AE86 was the light weight edition of the Corolla.

Stopped the production for about a decade, this GT 86 is here to replace the oldish AE86

 "A" alphabet represents the engine series that installed in the car, "E" number means the Corolla itself, 8 represents to E80 (the fifth generation code of Corolla) and 6 means the variation of the 5th generation.

 Toyota Sprinter Trueno (Trueno is a Spanish word means Thunder) has the same engine with Toyota MR2, Toyota Celica GT-R and GT Carina (GT Carina was only available in Japan), the standard 4A-GE. It was a fuel injected 4 cylinder 1587cc twincam engine which could produce 128 bHP or 96 kw of power and 150 nm of torque. It came with a 5-speed of manual transmission and an oldish automatic transmission. It was sure that the manual version is faster than the automatic one. LSD was optional for the AE86.

 AE86's production was stopped for about a decade until Toyota finally launched it's successor, the Toyota 86 in October 2009, revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show. Toyota 86 actually is the name of the unit production for Asia, South Africa, North America (2016), South America and Australia. It called as GT 86 in Europe, and FT 86 in Niaragua and Jamaica. Toyota 86 has 2 similiar siblings from 2 other brands: BRZ (Boxer engine, Rear wheel drive and Z for Zenith) from Subaru, and FR-S (Front engine, Rear wheel drive, Sport) from Scion.

 Toyota 86 uses an 4 cylinder naturally aspirated (non turbo) engine named 4U-GSE (by Toyota) or FA20 (Subaru's code).
This engine placed inside the Hachi-Roku has a front engine and rear wheel drive layout and it must drink at least RON 98 unleaded petrol to maximize its performance.

Now, this is the 2nd Concept of 86


 It has 200 HP of power (149 kw or 203 ps) at maximum (7000rpm), 151 lb-ft(205 nm) of torque at 6000 rpm combined with TL70 manual gearbox (manual version) or the automatic one that uses traditional wet torque converter design but with a dual-clutch software, making it easy and fun to drive. The automatic transmission offer 3 driving modes: Sport, Snow and Normal and LSD (Limited Slip Differential) is standard for all models.

 86 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h / 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds (7.6 seconds as the manufactur's claim) and a top speed of 145 mph / 233 km/h.

 In 2011's Geneva Motor Show, Toyota unveiled the third generation of Toyota 86, which was named "Toyota FT 86 II Concept". The 86's face was improved, with addition of body kit on its whole body, and minor change in the frontlamp and backlamp.

A sportcar for everyone


 86 is a car for everyone. Why not, it was awarded as the Car of The Year by Top Gear Europe (2012), Best Driver's Car by Autocar Europe (2012), Best Performance Car under 60.000 Australian Dollar by Drive Australia, 2013's Best Sportcar by Canada's Auto123, and the other awards.

 If you ask me, what is the difference between Mercedes Benz SLS AMG and its successor, Mercedes AMG GT S? Then I will answer: AMG GT S has changed a lot from its predecessor! What was changed?

 Firstly, of course the GT S's face. Main headlamp was changed, the square headlamp changed into kidney-shaped headlamp. Second, the famous seagull (gullwing) doors also changed into general doors, like most of the cars.

 The bad news is, GT S has lower power than its predecessor. GT S has 4000cc TwinTurbo V8 that produces 503 bHP/ 510 ps and the torque of 650 Nm. The predecessor has 6200cc V8 DOHC engine, produces 563 HP/ 571 ps. SLS AMG HAS NO TURBO AT ALL, so it called as THE MOST POWERFUL NATURALLY ASPIRATED PRODUCTION SERIES ENGINE IN THE WORLD.

 Back to the GT S, it is a 2 seat coupé from Mercedes Benz AMG series. Officially unveiled in 2014, in the Paris Motor Show. Almost 93 percent of its structure made from aluminium, even the front module base made up from magnesium.

 This front mid-engine car has RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) system. When the gas is being hit, GT S's engine gives power to the rear wheel via transaxle 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual clutch transmission, makes gear shifting really fast, less than a second, not just that, GT S also has an electronically mechanical limited slip differential (LSD). Acceleration from 0-60 mph/ 0-100 km/h could be done by GT S in just 3.0 seconds, 0.7 second faster than the SLS AMG, which has more power.
