Koenigsegg One 1, the first megacar in the world

Koenigsegg One 1, one megawatt power

Koenigsegg One 1, first I was thinking that Koenigsegg was really confident to call their legendary supercar although there are still many supercars can go faster than the One 1.
But the reality will make you surprised on why it was named as One 1.

Koenigsegg One 1 was produced in 2014

One 1 here didn't mean as the world's number one supercar, but the name One 1 comes from the power to weight ratio; 1361 PS and the weight is 1361 kg, makes the car 1 PS per 1 kg of weight, and 1361 power output is equivalent as one megawatt power. That is why the car was named One 1, and Koenigsegg claims that One 1 is the 'world first megacar'. One 1 was focused to be a race track car by Koenigsegg.

Looks like a rocket from above

One 1 as a supercar based from Koenigsegg Ageras have removed the roof from the previous model and add airscoop to improve downforce.

One 1 from its tail

 With a 5000cc V8 TwinTurbocharged engine that produces 1361 PS/ 1,001 kW at 7500 rpm and a torque 1371 Nm/ 1,001 lb•ft at 6000 rpm can make an acceleration from 0-60 mph/ 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, 0-124 mph/ 0-200 km/h in 6.6 seconds, 0-186 mph/ 0-300 km/h in 11.9 seconds and 0-200 mph/ 0-322 km/h in 14.3 seconds.

Theoretically it can run until 280 mph

That record of acceleration is supported by 7 speed dual clutch-paddleshift transmission, carbon fibre engine which the total weight of the engine is just 197 kg, and a theoretical top speed at 280 mph/ 451 km/h.

 Thanks for reading!
